White Night in Siena 2019: Friday, June 21
There is great anticipation for the White Night in Siena 2019 scheduled on the evening of Friday 21 June. For many years this joyful popular festival has been the best possible way to celebrate the beginning of summer and always manages to offer a wide range of events, entertainment and initiatives for people of any age. In particular, this year the longest night of Siena will also coincide with the program of the seventh edition of Toscana Arcobaleno d’Estate (scheduled from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 June) and the European Music Festival (June 21).

Like June 21 of each year, for 2019 the city of Siena celebrates the arrival of summer with the celebrations of the White Night!

Frankie hi-nrg mc at the Medici Fortress
At 18.00 at the Fortezza Medicea the presentation of the last book written by Frankie hi-nrg mc is scheduled. The title of the literary work is “Faccio la mia cosa”.
At 19:00, again at the Fortress, aperitif with Dj-Set waiting for the musical performance of Frankie Hi-Nrg mc on the agenda for 22:00. Following that, dj set of the musician from Turin in collaboration with Alan Griffin (Chicago).
Throughout the afternoon, the music will be a great protagonist of this festival also with a musical Marathon created by the students of the ISSM “R. Franci ”and affiliated schools.
Finally, again on the subject of beautiful musical notes, at 21.00 at the Teatro dei Rinnovati is scheduled the free concert directed by the Maestro Volpini.
Siena International Street Food Festival in Lizza
The Siena International Street Food Festival 2019 will be inaugurated for the White Night. This street food event will be set up at the Lizza gardens from 21 to 23 June.
In the three days of this gastronomic event, many street food specialties can be enjoyed, but also typical dishes and mouth-watering delicacies.
Museums open up to Midnight
One of the main cultural initiatives planned by the rich program of the White Night 2019 in Siena is the opening of museums until midnight.
To give some examples, in the after-dinner on June 21st, splendid museum sites such as the Civic Museum, Santa Maria della Scala and the Magazzini del Sale can be visited.
