Bagno Vignoni
Another thermal town near Siena known since ancient times is Bagno Vignoni, in the municipality of San Quirico d’Orcia. Until a few decades ago this town of the Val d’Orcia was very popular for the presence of a large thermal pool in the center of the town, where it was possible to take baths and do inhalations. Today the use of Piazza delle Sorgenti is no longer allowed, but to enjoy a dive free of charge it is sufficient to go down to the Parco dei Mulini area. Bagni San Filippo

The small natural thermal pools are located near the Balena Bianca, an imposing block of calcium carbonate, and the Fosso Bianco. The water flows at a very hot temperature and therefore diving is also possible in Autumn and Winter.
Terme di Petriolo
Another destination near Siena for free and paid thermal baths is Petriolo, in the municipality of Monticiano.

San Casciano dei Bagni
